I have had the pleasure of knowing Heather & Chris for a while now. When they reached out to me about doing their engagement photos I was ecstatic. They told me little details about their love story unfolding at the Oregon Country Fair. I knew immediately that’s where we would do our shoot, they were totally on board! It was so much fun walking around the grounds in the off season and having them point to different spots and reminisce. We made it out just in time before the swarm of mosquitos. God’s Thumb: Oregon Coast Engagement

I was so excited when Pj & Pear reached out to me about doing their engagement photos, knowing that they were up for an adventure, we decided to hike up God’s Thumb on the Oregon Coast. Lincoln City has some amazing beach spots & hikes, God’s thumb ranks very high on my list.

The hike is pretty short and sweet, but it can be very muddy depending on the season you go in. We went in the rainy season but luckily we only got sprinkled on a little bit. There are two trails the shorter one is not technically open to the public, so we took the longer trail to the top. Its about a two mile trip to the top and we giggled the whole way.

A big benefit of going in the off season is that there is less people. In recent years the God’s Thumb hike has become very popular for hikers and photographers alike!
